Destiny and Ira Losco react to the negative call-outs towards Destiny by the viewers
With this year’s contest’s live shows hardly a week away, the Rotterdam Ahoy started its early celebrations with the first round of rehearsals which started on Saturday. Although being an exciting part of the contest as it gives us the first glimpse of what the performances will look like on stage, the drama couldn’t miss yet another chance to show up.
After Malta’s first rehearsal yesterday, many viewers commented their opinion about one of the potential winners of this year’s edition. Yet, some of the comments weren’t in favour of Destiny with some of them criticizing her choice for her outfit. The outfit which consisted of a bodysuit in fuschia seemed to take the spotlight almost fully to itself.ย Some of the comments even body-shamed Destiny for choosing such an outfit seeing her physical appearance.
Destiny didn’t wait much to respond to the hate speech and posted the following post on her Facebook page:

Taking Destiny’s side is her mentor in X-Factor and the two times representative for Malta, Ira Losco who also published a post about the situation:
I sincerely do hope that my comment about the matter is not taken out of context nor used as click bait to stir more…

We would like to mention that EscBubble’s team goes against any kind of hate speech or racism towards any person. We believe that all humans are born equal and should be treated with the same amount of respect no matter who they are.
This is surely nota fashion show. Consider the artist and the song presented. The Voice does the magic.
