Stéphane Bern and Laurence Boccolini are back as hosts for the French 2022 selection!

They are back! The two hosts that guided everyone through the French national final this year, the one that delivered a winner, Barbara Pravi, who brought France their best result in 30 years and their names are: Stéphane Bern and Laurence Boccolini!

French TV magazine Télé Loisirs broke the news today and in case you’ve forgotten, this is what our hosts have to their names:

Stéphane Bern is a TV host who is an expert in history (having his own show ”Secrets d’Histoire” and royal affairs who has been with the France Télévisions channel since 2006. Since 2010 he has been commentating the Eurovision Song Contest quite regularly but not only that! He also guided the French through the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2018, teaming up with Madame Monsieur!

Laurence Boccolini has been in the spotlights all the way since the 80s, from when she has hosted numerous radio shows, with the focus on music. From 2000 to 2020 she has been presenting legendary shows like Le Maillon Faible and Money Drop for which she is the iconic host.
As recently as 2020, when she switched France 2, she has been incredibly busy hosting high-profile shows such as: Mot de passe, Un mot peut en cacher un autre, Tout Le Monde Veut Prendre Sa Place en lieu and Place de Nagui.
