Here Are The First Finalists Of Melodifestivalen 2024!

The heat 1 of Melodifestivalen 2024 just finished. It took place in Malmö in the arena which will be hosting the Eurovision Song Contest 2024. The show was hosted by Carina Berg.

The total of 6 acts were competing for the chance to advance to the final of Melodifestivalen 2024

  1. Adam Woods “Supernatural”
  2. Samir & Viktor “Hela världen väntar”
  3. Melina Borglowe “Min melodi”
  4. Elisa Lindström “Forever Yours”
  5. Lisa Ajax “Awful Liar”
  6.  Smash Into Pieces “Heroes Are Calling”

After the first round of votes the ones who went directly to the final were:

  1.  Smash Into Pieces “Heroes Are Calling”

The remaining 5 were given another chance in the second voting round:

  1. Lisa Ajax “Awful Liar” 86
  2. Elisa Lindström “Forever Yours” 69
  3. Adam Woods “Supernatural” 66
  4. Samir & Viktor “Hela världen väntar” 57
  5. Melina Borglowe “Min melodi” 26

Lisa Ajax became the second direct finalist and the ones who advanced to the the run-off vote were Elisa and Adam

Out of the competition:

Melina Borglowe “Min melodi”

This year Melodifestivalen introduced the run-off votes to decide the last two finalists. It will be held after heat 5 and it will feature all of the songs which previously ended on 3rd and 4th place. The top two songs in the run-off vote will then progress to the final, which will consist out of 12 songs.

Next weeks six acts which will be competing for the final are as follows::

  1. Maria Sur – “When I’m Gone”
  2. Engmans Kapell – “Norrland”
  3. Dear Sara – “The Silence After You”
  4. C-Joe – “Ahumma”
  5. Liamoo – “Dragon”
  6. Fröken Snusk – “Unga & fria”
