MEGARA are heading to Eurovision after all … for San Marino

This may well have been one of the most unpredictable results of the Eurovision national final season thus far. Since Loredana Bertè was announced as participating in Una voce per San Marino 2024, her win had been considered by many to be a fait accompli.

However, the Teatro Nuovo was in shock tonight when Megara were announced as the winners, and not Loredana! Megara have already tried to get to Eurovision, and placed 4th at Benidorm Fest 2023.

The podium rounded out with Loredana Bertè finishing in 2nd place and La Rua placing 3rd.

How do you think Megara will do with 11:11 in Malmö? Can they improve San Marino’s fate at the Contest? Let us know in the comments below or on our social media!

Last May, the Piqued Jacks extended San Marino’s non-qualification streak to two years in-a-row when they failed to get any points in Semi Final 2 in Liverpool with their song “Like An Animal”.
