The full televote results and international jury of MGP 2024 have been revealed

Last Saturday the 62nd edition of Melodi Grand Prix took place. After the exciting voting sequence, Gåte won the show with “Ulveham” and will be waving the Norwegian flag at Eurovision Song Contest 2024. Today, NRK has revealed the full details of the televoting as well as the list of  international jury members for Melodi Grand Prix 2024.

The televote contributed 60% to the total results while the jury votes were making 40% of it. The full number of televotes each song received with it’s point equivalent is as follows:

  1. Gåte – “Ulveham”– 76,672 votes – 174 pts
  2. KEiiNO – “Damdiggida” – 64,257 votes – 146 pts
  3. Erika Norwich & Super Rob – “My AI” – 53,048 votes – 120 pts
  4. Gothminister – “We Come Alive” – 35,219 votes – 80 pts
  5. Anne Fagermo & Dag Erik Oksvold“Judge Tenderly of Me” – 20,902 votes – 47 pts
  6. MIIA – “Green Lights” – 9,858 votes – 22 pts
  7. Ingrid Jasmin – “Eya” – 8,860 votes – 20 pts
  8. Margaret Berger – “Oblivion” – 8,366 votes – 19 pts
  9. Annprincess – “Save Me” – 7,665 votes – 17 pts

The international jury consisted out of five members who are musicians, producers, journalist, music experts, broacast executives or PR professionals. Total of ten countries have been featured at the international jury panel. Among notable names of the judging panel there are many former contestants at Eurovision as well as the singers who took part in the national selection as well as hosts and HoD’s.

Each jury consisted out of the following members (spokesperson is in bold):

  • Azerbaijan – Aysel Teymurzade (2009), Nadir Rustamli (2022), Leyla Guliyeva (host 2012), Isa Melikov, Eldar Rasulov;
  • Czechia – Martina Lesner, Eliška Svejkovská, Kryštof Kodl, Kryštof Dobrovský, Karolina Lukaskova;
  • Denmark – Tilde Vinther (backing vocal 2021), Molly Plank, Anders Ugilt Andersen, Bryan Rice (DMGP 2010 & 2014), Christian Ellegard;
  • Estonia – Alika Milova (2023), Karl-Ander Reismann (Songwriter ESC 2022, JESC 2023), Vallo Kikas (songwriter 2016 & 2019), Riin Vann, Ott Lepland (2012);
  • Finland – Petri Alanko, Minette Ristikari, Neea River, Iiro Myllymäki, Alina Rautava;
  • Iceland – Diljá Pétursdóttir (2023), Júlí Heiðar Halldórsson (Söngvakeppnin 2017), Þorunn Larusdottir, Felix Bergsson, Sigríður Eyrún Friðriksdóttir;
  • Netherlands – Maxime Klein Nagelvoort, Koen van Herp, Chris Hargets, Frank van ‘t Hof, Suzanne Straatsburg;
  • Sweden – Natalie Carrion, Robert Sehlberg (jury 2014, 2018 and 2023), Helene Wigren, Natasha Azarmi, Mathias Bridfelt;
  • Switzerland – Pelé Loriano (music producer 2019 & 2021), Remo Forrer (2023), Dominique Magnusson, Zoë Anina Kressler, Yves Schifferle;
  • United Kingdom – Andrew Cartmell, Mark Angels, Kevin Hughes, Leila Al-Mitwally, Rosie Smedley

After winning the televote and getting 2nd place from the international jury Gåte won with a total of 250 points. Even though they needed to go through a last minute change of lyrics before the final of Melodi Grand Prix 2024 they managed to get the biggest amount of the audience votes.
