Spanish song for Junior Eurovision 2024 revealed
RTVE has revealed the song Chloe DelaRosa will perform on home soil next month. The young artist will sing “Como la Lola”, composed by David Parejo, Luis Ramiro and Alejandro García, on the big stage at Caja Mágica.
Chloe was selected internally by the Spanish broadcaster to represent her country in Madrid. She comes from a family of artists, her father is a music producer and singer, while their brothers stand out for their acting skills. She started singing at the age of three but it wasn’t until the lockdown when she went viral covering songs by her favourite singers.
The song Chloe will perform at Junior Eurovision reflects her personality very well as it tells how to be a “cantista”, a mix of cantante (singer) and artist (artista). The lyrics of “Como la Lola” also mention some of the singers that she admires, Taylor Swift, Karol G, Rosalía, Olivia Rodrigo, Shakira and Lola Flores, who inspired the title. Chloe’s autobiographical entry show her as the happy, energetic and sassy girl who will wave the Spanish flag in Madrid.
