Bosnia & Herzegovina are BACK in Eurovision!

After a three year, Bosnia & Herzegovina are back in the Eurovision Song Contest, as they are going to be taking part in the 2016 edition in Stockholm!

The national broadcaster of Bosnia & Herzegovina managed to secure the necessary funds in order to take part in the Eurovision Song Contest 2016, as well as sponsors who guarantee covering of costs of this project. It is yet to be decided whether the next entrant for Bosnia & Herzegovina is going to be selected internally, or whether some sort of a national selection is going to be held.

With the return of Bosnia & Herzegovina, we now have a total of 41 countries confirmed to take part in the Contest in Stockholm.

The last time Bosnia & Herzegovina took part in the Eurovision Song Contest was back in 2012, when Maya Sar sang “Korake ti znam” in the Contest in Baku.

Bosnia & Herzegovina have a 100% qualification record, as they qualified for the Grand Final in every participation. Their best result came in 2006, when Hari Mata Hari represented his country with his song “Lejla”, and finished in third place in Athens.
