Italian broadcaster RAI have surprised us all today by delivering us the artist and song that will be representing the country at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2019!

They have chosen Marta Viola with the song ‘La voce della terra’ (English: The Voice of the Earth)!
A song (composed by Marco Iardella and Franco Fasano and with lyrics written by Emilio di Stefano and Fabrizio Palaferri) that talks about coming together to save the earth.

Marta is very excited at the prospect of performing at Junior Eurovision, as she says:

It will be amazing to perform in front of so many people across the continent.
