Senhit films her live-on-tape in Rome, whilst Flo Rida is in Miami!

The Sammarinese national broadcaster has internally selected Senhit to represent San Marino in the 2021 Eurovision Song Contest, and her song this year was chosen internally – “Adrenalina”. Ever since the release of the song fans have been wondering if the well known rapper, singer and songwriter from the US who is featured in the song and the video clip – Flo Rida, will actually be joining Senhit on the Eurovision stage or not, and now that Senhit has filmed her live-on-tape in Rome, whilst Flo Rida is constantly posting on his social media from Miami – it’s safe to assume that he won’t be joining Senhit on stage in Rotterdam.

Senhit filmed the live-on-tape for her Eurovision entry at the Voxon Studios in Rome, two days ago. The performance on the live-on-tape should be more-or-less the same as the act’s performance in Rotterdam (minor changes are allowed, such as lighting, modifications in the costumes etc…). Seeing that Senhit was filming this in Rome whilst Flo Rida was enjoying his time in Miami these past few days (as seen from his posts on social media, and Instagram stories), we can safely assume that Flo Rida will not be part of the act for Rotterdam, and that Senhit will perform the “solo” version of “Adrenalina” for San Marino.

All participating countries of this year’s Contest need to film a live-on-tape performance of their Eurovision song, with full staging, choreography, and of course live vocals, and submit this performance to the EBU. Each act can rehearse an unlimited amount of time, but are then allowed to shoot their performance three times within a time frame of one hour, and then decide which of the three performances will be their official back-up performance, which will be used in case the act is unable to make it to Rotterdam, or perform on the Eurovision stage. All live-on-tape performances need to be filmed and submitted by the 25th of March, with the exception of Belarus.
