Filming of Eurovision 2021 postcards is on the way and each one will feature a a small house which will showcase the story of each representative. In January the first three postcards were filmed at the Lighthouse Westhoofd in Ouddorp, on the ice in Nannewiid, Friesland and at Evoluon in Eindhoven.

As revealed by the Dutch media Omroep Zeeland, Vlissingen beach and the Kloeveniersdoelen in Middelburg have been chosen among 400 submissions to be the two of the filming locations for this years postcards.

It hasn’t been said which countries will be presented by those two postcards but as announced by the Dutch media, Australian postcard will feature the Sparta Stadion in Rotterdam.

Montaigne is a singer, crazy about football. So we wanted to express this sport element in her postcard. With the Sparta stadium as a background. The club’s long history and the unique atmosphere that that building radiates. We start with a drone shot, and we end with that.

On the other side several broadcasters have been preparing the green screens which will help with the transport of the artists to the recording location. This week we have seen posts from Sweden and Serbia about their postcard recording. Christer Björkman has shared a behind the scenes video of Tusse’s  Eurovision 2021 postcard filming. As Christer wrote the director of that whole process is new Swedish Head of Delegation, Lotta Furebäck

Serbian representatives, Ivana, Ksenija and Sanja have also revealed that they recorded the postcard. You can watch the short video below.
