Budget cuts prevent Songcheck from airing, reaction videos and other program planned in Germany!

Traditional German preview show Songcheck won’t be part of this Eurovision season due to budget cuts at NDR. Those news were confirmed to ESC Kompakt by Thomas Schreiber. On a brighter side they will still be presenting the reaction videos to all of the acts competing at Eurovision 2021. Many of the people reacting to this years songs are the same as last year including Jane Comerford (Texas Lightning, Germany 2006). NDR has announced their traditional Eurovision show in the night of the Grand Final, hosted by Barbara Schöneberger, more about it you can check HERE.

Another surprise prepared is the rebroadcast of the grand finale of Eurovision 2011 from Düsseldorf  which celebrates it’s 10th anniversary. It is scheduled for Friday, 21st of May with the start at 23:45 CET on Das Erste.

So far the countries which announced their preview shows to Eurovision 2021 are Norway with  “Adresse Rotterdam” , Iceland  – “Alla leið” and Finland with brand new show Viisukupla – Eurovisionsbubblan. 
In addition to the preview show one preview party is going to be held on 24th of April – PrePartyES.

Jendrik is the German representative at Eurovision 2021 and he will be performing “I Don’t Feel Hate” in the final of the Contest which is set to take place on 22nd of May, you can check the video below
