Artists competing at EMA 2025 have been revealed

Today with the beginning at 14:00 Slovenian broadcaster, RTVSLO, has started to reveal one by one artist and the name of their song which will be competing at EMA 2025.

Slovenian national selection for Eurovision Song Contest, EMA is making its return after two years break when RTVSLO has decided to internally select Joker Out in 2023 and Raiven in 2024. There were a total of 114 submissions for a chance to become the next Slovenian representative in Basel and a total of 12 acts have been chosen out of that bunch. This will be the 25th edition of EMA. A total of 12 artists were chosen from 114 submissions.

The artists competing at EMA 2025 in the order of their reveal are as follows:

The grand final of Slovenian national selection, EMA 2025 is set to take place on 1st of February. The winner will be determined after the two voting rounds. The first one will feature 50:50 votes of the jury and public voting. The jury will be consisting out of five members who are coming from the following backgrounds:

  • Music jury (singers, producers, songwriters…)
  • Television jury (editors, presenters, directors, choreographers…)
  • Radio jury (radio editors, journalists…)
  • OGAE Slovenia jury
  • International Eurovision influencer jury (bloggers, vloggers, online journalists…)

The second and the final voting round will be featuring the best two songs who will be in the superfinal of the show. The winner will be chosen solely by the public votes. The winner will be succeeding Raiven as Slovenian representative at Eurovision Song Contest. Raiven has received a total of 27 points in the grand final of Eurovision Song Contest 2024 singing “Veronika” which was enough for 23rd position. You can check out her performance below
