Breaking news: Israel to withdraw from Eurovision 2022?

Breaking news are coming from Israel, as their brodcaster KAN just announced on Twitter that Israel (at the moment) will not participate at the upcoming edition of 2022 Eurovision Song Contest, in Turin, Italy.

Due to the strike by the Foreign Ministry, the GSS can not handle the Israeli delegation to the Eurovision Song Contest, and as of this moment, the Israeli delegation will not participate in the 2022 Eurovision Song Contest in Turin.
We will keep you updated, as soon as we have more information about Israeli participation. Michael Ben David was selected to represent Israel at the Eurovision Song Contest 2022 in Turin with the song ‘I.M’.

‘Thunder and lightning it’s getting exciting’

I remember living the Eurovision bubble at the very place for the first time in 2014, when Emmelie De Forest brought the Contest to Denmark, and I love and loved every minute of it. One of my favorite Eurovision songs is probably "You Are The Only One" by Sergey Lazarev, of course among many others. #teamSLO
