Ivan to represent Belarus in Eurovision 2016!

The Belarusian national final has ended only moments ago, and we have got the fourth song in the Eurovision Song Contest 2016!

A total of 10 songs were competing to represent Belarus in the Eurovision Song Contest, and the televoters in Belarus decided that it is Ivan who will be travelling to Stockholm to represent Belarus in Eurovision 2016!

Ivan with the song “Help You Fly” won tonight’s televoting with 23167 votes, and thus won the Belarusian ticket to Eurovision. Napoli finished second with 22399 televotes, while Kirill Yermakov finished third with 13555 votes. This was the first time since 2009 that the winner was decided by televoting only!

I watched Eurovision in 1998 for the first time (by accident), and wondered what this show was where this girl with a cape sang in Croatian on Hungarian television. It's needless to say that I watch this show ever since. 2008 in Belgrade was the first Eurovision I've ever been to, and since then I've been to most of them.
My favourite Eurovision winner is "Everyway That I Can", and one of my all time favorite Eurovision songs is "Igranka".
