Eye Cue to represent Macedonia in Eurovision 2018!

Macedonia’s national broadcaster MRT has just announced that the duo Eye Cue is going to represent Macedonia at the 2018 Eurovision Song Contest, with the song “Lost And Found”.

A special jury made of Meri Popova (Macedonia’s Head of Delegation in Eurovision), Karolina Petkovska, Aleksandra Jovanovska (Macedonia’s Head of Press), Avni Qaili, Branka Kostic Markovic, Andrijana Jovanovska, Marko Mark and Antonio Dimitrievski have listened to 382 songs that were received for Eurovision 2018, and narrowed the number down to the final 12. Then after the final listenings were done, their chose was made, and the duo Eye Cue came out as the winners and thus the Macedonian Eurovision entrants for 2018. Their song is titled “Lost And Found” and it was written by Bojan Trajkovski, while the arrangements were done by Darko Dimitrov.

MRT made the following statement on their website:

The Commission is unanimous in the view that: the selected composition has a contemporary sound, impressive refrain and text, excellent and original vocal abilities of the performer, which certainly offers the opportunity for a quality Eurovision package and a worthy presentation of MRT and Macedonia at this prestigious musical event organized by EBU.
