The X Factor Malta experienced some dramatic moments during Sunday’s live show and things escalated quickly when contestant Karl Schembri fired back against judges Ira Losco and Alexandra Alden and their reactions to his performance.

This clash became the subject of the week in Malta following numerous further reactions on behalf of Schembri himself :

Judge Howard Keith Debono has now responded strongly with his Facebook status on the subject:

There have been many reactions from Karl’s fans showing their support to him. Ira Losco herself has reposted Debono’s post on both her Facebook and Instagram accounts.

This story comes after many claims concerning injustices with the results and that accusations of bias and undue pressure was taking place with people claiming to have received messages from Schembri’s parents asking them to vote for him as well as the elimination of some of the viewers’ favourites in the last two shows. On behalf on X Factor’s production, it was made clear that there will be no tolerance concerning such cases if these are proven true.
