Malta have found their candidate for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2020 and her name is: Chanel Monseigneur! 

Back on 19 September a national final, hosted by Dorian Cassar and Amber (Malta 2015), was held. It featured pre-recorded performances of all the artists and a jury determined the score for 50% while the other 50% came from online voting which was open for several days. And today the outcome was revealed!

Nine-year-old (born on 2 January 2011) Chanel will be going. After having participated in various local competitions and always being encouraged to keep developing her talent and go further, she now takes the big step and will represent her country Malta on an international stage! The song she won the national final with and which she’ll be singing at Junior Eurovision 2020 is her first original song: ‘Chasing Sunsets’!
