LIVE: MESC 2024, semifinal 1

Tonight the national selection season of Eurovision 2024 starts, when the first semifinal of MESC, the Maltese national selection for Eurovision, takes place. We get to hear the first 9 contestants of this years selection out of the total 36 competing acts. We will take you through tonight’s show in our live blog, starting at 21:00 CET:

A Finnish woman with a huge passion for Eurovision. My favourite ESC-memory is when the victory was FINALLY brought to Finland by Lordi and ”Hard rock hallelujah” in 2006. However, my all-time favourite Eurovision song is ”Waterloo” by Abba. I love Eurovision because it brings whole Europe (and some other countries as well) together with music.
