ESCBubble’s review and ESCBubble’s winner of Festivali i Kenges 62!

The Grand Final of the 62nd edition of Albania’s Festivali i Kenges is set to take place in about an hour. A total of 22 acts will compete for winning this traditional festival, however 31 songs are in competition to represent Albania in Eurovision.

Four of our team members – Nikola, Shaun, Isaac and Ervin reviewed and discussed each of the 31 songs that could be selected to represent Albania in Eurovision, and you can check that out right here:

Ever since we heard all of the songs, we also asked YOU to let us know who your personal favorites are. At the moment of writing this article, the top 10 of our readers is as follows:

  1. Luan Durmishi – Perseritja – 32%
  2. Elsa Lila – Mars – 16%
  3. Besa Kokedhima – Zemren n’dore – 7%
  4. Anduel Kovaci – Nan’ – 7%
  5. Eldis Arrnjeti – Nje kujtim – 7%
  6. Arsi Bako – Zgjohu – 4%

  8. Stivi Ushe – Askush si ty – 3%
  9. Sergio Hajdini – Uragan – 3%
  10. Olsi Ballta – Une – 2%

Our team members other than the four who reviewed the songs in the video above, have also voted for their favorites, and this was the team top 10:

  1. Luan Durmishi – Perseritja
  2. Arsi Bako – Zgjohu
  3. Elsa Lila – Mars
  4. Anduel Kovaci – Nan’
  5. Olsi Ballta – Une
  6. Besa Kokedhima – Zemren n’dore
  7. Eldis Arrnjeti – Nje kujtim
  8. Michela Paluca – Per veten

  10. Erina & The Elementals – Jeten n’skaj

As you can see, both our team members and our readers agree that regardless that he failed to qualify for the Final of Festivali i Kenges, Luan Durmishi should still be selected to represent Albania in the 2023 Eurovision Song Contest. Last year’s winner of the Festival, Elsa Lila, finished in the top three in both votes, and whilst Besa Kokedhima completes our readers’ top three, Arsi Bako is in our team members’ top.

You can still let us know who YOUR favorites are by voting in our poll, as the poll will only close at the end of tonight’s show:
