Krick: ‘Sometimes people don’t support Luxembourg musicians, but now I hope Eurovision will change that’

This weekend, the hotly-anticipated selection for Luxembourg’s first representative since their return to the Eurovision Song Contest will take place and we will learn which of the eight competing artists will get the ticket to Malmö, Sweden. This will be the first year that Luxembourg has appeared at the contest since 1993, so all eyes are on whether Luxembourg will make a successful return to the contest.

Amongst those artists competing to represent their home nation of Luxembourg is Krick. The young nurse and performer, born and living in Luxembourg, will be performing her entry “Drowning In The Rain” on Saturday 27th January 2024. Ahead of rehearsals, ESCBubble editor David caught up with Krick to discuss how she found out about the news, how she is feeling going into the final week before the show and all about her Eurovision Song Contest favourites. We’re also joined by the delightful Elsie Bay, two-time Melodi Grand Prix finalist in Norway, who is one of the songwriters who penned Krick’s entry.

Check out the interview with both below:
