Running order of Supernova 2024 semi final has been revealed

The semi-final of Supernova 2024 is taking place this Saturday, 3rd of February. Latvian broadcaster, LTV has revealed the running order of all of the acts which will be competing in the show. Total of ten acts will advance to the final of the show which is set to take place on 10th of February. . Ten artists will qualify from the show, which will take place this Saturday (February 3rd). A combination of public vote and jury vote will determine the results in both shows. The hosts of the show will be Ketija Šēnberga and Lauris Reiniks.

The running order is as follows:

  1. Agnes Rakovska – AI
  2. Patrīcija Spale – Heaven’s Raining Down on Me
  3. B/H – Amsterdam
  4. Alekss Silvers – For the Show
  5. Jar of Kings – Wildfire
  6. Saint Levića – Tick Tock
  7. Sasha Sil – Love is a Language
  8. Papīra Lidmašīnas – Mind Breaker
  9. AVÉI – Mine
  10. ECTO – Outsider
  11.  Dons – Hollow
  12. Katrīna Gupalo – The Cat’s Song
  13. Funkinbiz – Na chystu vodu
  14. Vēstulēs – kur?
  15. Edvards Strazdiņš – Rock n’ Roll Supernova

Among the contestants there are two very familiar to the Eurovision Song Contst audience the one to open the show will be Agnese Rakovska who was part of Triana Park who represented Latvia at Eurovision 2017. The second artist is Dons who almost went to represent the Baltic country in 2010, even though he was tied with Aisha, the selection had the rule to give advantage to the act which was higher placed among the audience. Out of the fifteen acts only two are performed in a language other than English. Funkinbiz will perform their song in Ukrainian and Vēstulēs  will perform theirs in Latvian language.

Last year, Supernova was won by Sudden Lights who went to represent Latvia with “Aijā” and they ended the contest on 11th place in the semi-final scoring only 34 points, just 3 points behind the last qualifier, Luke Black from Serbia. You can check out “Aijā” below
