Songs for PZE 24 to be released on 25th of January

In December the list of artists which are selected to take part at Pesma Za Evroviziju 24 has been revealed. Today in a podcast, the representative of Serbian broadcaster, Srđan Mladenović has revealed that all of the competing entries will be released on 25th of January.

The songs will be released on the official YouTube channel and it is expected that all of the songs will be available on all streaming platforms but as Srđan revealed in the podcast that is not in power of RTS as a broadcaster but the artists and authors because they gave the authors time to submit the final versions of the recordings before putting them to the streaming platforms. In addition to the song reveal the draw for the semi-final will be announced as well. In addition to that it was mentioned that the announcement of the voting results will be more similar to the way it is announced at Eurovision Song Contest. As Srđan stated that was not something which RTS didn’t want to do before but the broadcaster is ready to implement that technical aspect of the show from beginning to the end. He also added that they don’t have plans to include the international jury’s like it’s done in some other participating countries they stick to the jury system as it was up until now. Later during the podcast alongside with president of OGAE Serbia, Nenad Pribak they commented other selected entries for Eurovision 2024 as well as some other selections which are taking place in competing countries. As we know already each semi-final will feature 14 songs out of which the best 8 will qualify to the grand final of the show. The semi-finals are set to take place on 27th & 29 of February while the Grand Final is schedule for 2nd of March. Last year Luke Black scored 30 points and finished on 24th place.
