Angelina Mango wins Sanremo 2024 and will represent Italy in Eurovision 2024
The Sanremo 2024 marathon finished moments ago. A total of 30 acts competed in this year’s edition of this traditional festival, and the winner was selected in two rounds of voting – first televoting only selected the top five, who got to perform their songs once again, and then a mix of Radio jury, Press jury and a second round of televoting decided the winner. Contrary to some of the past years when the winner got the first refusal to competing in Eurovision, this year’s winner is directly selected for Malmö as well, and it’s none other than Angelina Mango!
5 hours into the show, after all 30 acts performed their songs, the rankings from 30th down to the 6th place were revealed – decided solely by televoting. The results were as follows:

16. The Kolors – Un ragazzo una ragazza
17. Mr. Rain – Due altalene
18. Santi Francesi – L’amore in bocca
19. Negramaro – Ricominciamo tutto
20. Dargen D’Amico – Onda alta
21. Ricchi e Poveri – Ma non tutta la vita
22. BigMama – La rabbia non ti basta
23. Rose Villain – Click Boom!
24. Clara – Diamanti grezzi

Shortly after this announcement, the televoting for the top five acts (Irama, Ghali, Angelina Mango, Geolier and Annalisa) opened once again, and the final results were decided by 33% Radio Jury, 33% Press Jury and 34% televoting. The final results were as follows:
- Angelina Mango – La noia (40.3%)
- Geolier – I p’ me, tu p’ te (25.2%)
- Annalisa – Sinceramente (17.1%)
- Ghali – Casa mia (10.5%)
- Irama – Tu no (6.9%)
Geolier was the runaway winner of the televoting (60%), followed by Angelina Mango (16.1%), Ghali (8.3%), Annalisa (8%) and Irama (7.5%). This means though that Angelina Mango had an overwhelming victory both with the Press Jury as well as with the Radio Jury, and eventually overcame the televoting gap.
Antelina Mango was crowned as the winner of this year’s Festival di Sanremo, and will thus go on to represent Italy in Eurovision 2024 in Malmö. Check out the winning song right here:
