The first finalists of Dora 2024 have been announced

The first semi-final of Dora 2024 has just finished. The show took place in HRT studios in Zagreb for the first time since its return in 2019. The hosts were Maja Ciglenečki and Duško Ćurlić.

A total of 12 acts competed out of which eight advanced further to the finals. The qualifiers were determined solely by the televotes.

The running order was as follows

1. Noelle – “Baby, baby”
2. Mario Battifiaca feat. Robert Ferlin – “Vodu piti trizan biti”
3. Stefany – “Sretnih dana dat’ će Bog”
4. MISHA – “One Day”
5. Erna – “How do you love me”
6. Eugen – “Tišine”
7. Vinko – “Lying Eyes”
8. Barbara Munjas – “Nepobjediva”
9. Let 3 – “Babaroga”
10. Lana Mandarić – “More”
11. Pavel – “Do Mjeseca”
12. Saša Lozar – “Ne plačem zbog nje”

As the interval act we had a chance to hear Slimane who performed La recette, Des Milliers de Je T’aime and his Eurovision entry Mon amour acts which qualified to the final of the show are:

Vinko – “Lying Eyes”
Eugen – “Tišine”
Mario Battifiaca feat. Robert Ferlin – “Vodu piti trizan biti”
Stefany – “Sretnih dana dat’ će Bog”
Saša Lozar – “Ne plačem zbog nje”
Let 3 – “Babaroga”
Lana Mandarić – “More”

The second semi-final will feature the remaining twelve acts and tomorrow evening we will find out which eight qualifiers will join the ones who qualified tonight in the final which is set to take place this Sunday, 25th of February.

The winner of Dora 2024 will be decided in the combined vote of audience and jury (50:50). The jury won’t consist solely out of Croatian musicians and professionals but in the addition to the ones coming from Zagreb, Split, Rijeka and Osijek four international juries will be added Germany, Iceland, Italy and Ukraine.
