These are ESCBubble’s qualifiers from the first semi final of Festival da Cancao 2024
The Portuguese national selection – Festival da Cancao 2024, kicks off tonight with its first semi final. A total of 10 acts are going to compete tonight for one of the six places that lead to the Grand Final, which is set to take place in two weeks’ time.
Ahead of tonight’s show, our team members listened to the ten competing songs, and voted for their favorites. This is how we saw the entries, and how we ranked them:
- Joao Borsch – …Pelas costuras
- Perpetua – Bem longe daqui
- Noble – Memory
- Nena – Teorias da conspiracao
- Iolanda – Grito
- Bispo – Casa Portuguesa
- Rita Rocha – Pontos finais
- Mela – Agua
- Mila Dores – Afia a lingua
- Left. – Volto a ti
Joao Borsch is the runaway winner of this Semi Final for our team members. Following Joao, Perpetua and Noble complete our team’s top three, whilst Nena and Iolanda are in 4th and 5th place respectively. Apart from these five acts, our team members would like to see Bispo as the 6th qualifier in tonight’s show. But this is all based on the studio versions, and of course – with live performances, anything and everything can change.
