This is ESCBubble’s winner of Festival da Canção 2024
After two Semi Finals, the Grand Final of Portugal’s Festival da Canção 2024 is taking place tonight in RTP’s studio in Lisbon. A total of 12 acts qualified for tonight’s Final, and they will be competing to win over the hearts of the Portuguese public as well as the professional jury, in order to win and to go on to represent Portugal in Eurovision 2024 in Malmö.
Ahead of tonight’s show, our team members watched each act’s Semi Final performances, and voted for their favorites. This is how we saw the entries, and how we ranked them:
- Iolanda – Grito
- Joao Borsch – … Pelas costuras
- Leo Middea – Doce misterio
- No Maka feat. Ana Maria – Aceitar
- Buba Espinho – O farol
- Noble – Memory
- Nena – Teorias da conspiracao
- Rita Rocha – Pontos finais
- Rita Onofre – Criatura
- Silk Nobre – Change
- Perpetua – Bem longe daqui
- Cristina Clara – Primavera
We ended up with a tie on top between Iolanda and Joao Borsch, but our tie-break was eventually won by Iolanda. Leo Middea, No Maka ft. Ana Maria, and Buba Espinho finished in our top five. Unfortunately, Perpetua and Cristina Clara failed to impress most of our team members, and have taken the last two places in our vote.
Check out also the reaction of four of our team members – Joe, Shaun, Nikola and Ervin to all 12 finalists in this video below:
