A few weeks ago we informed you that Dora 2025 returns to Opatija and that the final of the show is set to take place on 2nd of March now we bring you the news related to the song release date as well as the dates of the semi-final.

As Croatian news outlet, Jutarnji reveals all of the songs competing at Dora 2025 will be released this Thursday, 9th of January on the second program of Croatian Radio as well as on the official YouTube channel of Dora. The dates for the semi-final of the show are 27th and 28th of February while the final will take place on 2nd of March. On 5th of December HRT has revealed the list of 24 acts which will be competing for a chance to Croatia in Basel. The list has been updated due to the fact that Lara and LSQ withdrew. Their place was filled in by Swingers.

There are now three songs on the reserve list:
1. Fenksta – „Ekstra”,
2. Patricia Gasparini – „KARMA”
3. llyricum – „TANANAI” (MOTHER)

The additional details regarding the voting and other procedures in Dora 2025 are expected to be revealed no later than 20th of January. It is expected that the each semi will feature 12 artists and that 8 of them will make it to the final which will make the final out of 16 acts. Maja Tokić (New editor of Dora) stated in an interview for Slobodna Dalmacija, the format is expected to remain the same as last year with the international jury and that the final decision will be made by jury and televote (50-50). Maja also mentioned that they are working on the way to introduce online voting.

Except winning previous edition of Dora, Baby Lasagna won the televote of Eurovision Song Contest 2024. You can check out the performance below
