Lyndsay to open, and Ekklesia sisters to close Malta Eurovision!

Two nights ago, the 20 semi finalists of Malta Eurovision Song Contest have been announced on TVM, in a very popular talk-show Xarabank. The song that will open the semi final, as well as the song that will close this show have been drawn today.

Mr. Gordon Bonello has drawn the first and the last acts in Malta Eurovision Song Contest, which will take place on the 21st and 22nd of November. The running order of the remaining 18 songs will be decided by the production team.

Lyndsay Pace will be the first one to perform in the semi final. Her song is called “Home”, and it is composed by Boris Cezek, who composed the Maltese Eurovision entry in 2013 – “Tomorrow” by Gianluca. This will be Lyndsay’s first time ever in the Maltese national selection for Eurovision.

The last act to perform in the semi final will be one of the most talked-about acts – the six nuns! Ekklesia sisters will perform the song “Love & Let Go”, written by Philip Vella. The sisters will also take part in the Maltese national selection for the first time.

A mix of jury voting and televoting will select the best 14 out of these 20, which will make it to the final in Malta.
