Tinkara Kovač & Perpetuum Jazzile with new song “Canzone Per Te”!

Tinkara Kovač. Name, who brought Slovenia after a three years into Grand Final of Eurovision Song Contest, with her entry “Round And Round”, back in 2014,  surprised her fans again. This time Tinkara collaborated with Perpetuum Jazzile and here it is, timeless canzona with a new, a cappella arrangement.

2014 Eurovision Slovenian entrant did some new international project again. Among with Perpetuum Jazzile – who also covered this years’ Eurovison entry, together with Maraaya – she covered a song, which was originally presented by Italian singer, Sergio Endrigo, entitled “Canzona Per Te” (eng. A Song For You).

But as far as we know, Tinkara’s audience consist by Italian fans as well, she did two versions of the song – Italian and Slovenian. Slovenian version of the song is called “Pesem Zate“, and if she covered Italian version with original lyrics, she did Slovenian on her very own. Arrangement for 2015 version of all time San Remo winning entry, from 1968, was made by Erik Bosio, a member of Perpetuum Jazzile arrangement team.

Tinkara Kovač represented Slovenia at the 2014 Eurovision Song Contest in Copenhagen, Denmark. She represented her country with a song “Round And Round” and brought Slovenia into Grand Final, placing 25th out of 26 finalists,  scoring 9 points.
