Earlier today it was announced that RAI has handed over the same song to SVT as the one Francesca Michielin won the San Remo festival with earlier this year. She won with the song Nessun Grade Di Separazione and soon after winning she stated that she was considering singing the song in English at Eurovision because she is thinking of an international career.
Today it became public that Francesca will be singing the last verse in English, the rest will stay Italian, and that the song itself had been given the title No Degree Of Separation, a direct translation of the Italian title.

Italy, and thus Francesca, are qualified to the Grand Final on May 14 directly, as Italy is part of the ”Big 5”.
