The German national selection “Unser Song 2017” has finished moments ago, and the public have selected Germany’s entry for Kiev – “Perfect Life” by Levina.

A total of five acts took part in the national selection – Helene Nissen, Yosefin Buohler, Felicia Lu Kürbiß, Axel Feige and Levina. After the first round has finished where all five of them sang cover songs, Axel Feige, Levina and Helene Nissen have made it to the next round.

In the second round we heard these three acts singing “Wild Fire” – the first potential Eurovision song, written by Marit Larsen, Tofer Brown and Greg Holden. After the second round of voting, we said goodbye to Helene Nissen. Axel Feige and Levina have then presented the second potential Eurovision song, “Perfect Life”, written by Lindsey Ray, Lindy Robbins, and Dave Bassett.

After the third voting round, it was decided that Levina will be representing Germany in Eurovision 2017, as she was in the final round with both songs. In this final round of voting, the public have selected “Perfect Life” for Levina with 69% of the vote, and she will be singing this song in the Grand Final of Eurovision 2017 in Kiev!
