Recently it has become know that the German entry will get a revamp!
Germany began their journey by announcing Unser Song 2017 would be their national selection
It started with castings and ended with 5 acts being selected for a national final. In that final artists and songs (2 of them) competed separately, as to find both the best artist and the best song.
The winning combination turned out to be Levina with ‘Perfect Life’:

It has been announced that the song will undergo some changes before Eurovision and this version will be released next month.
