The Montenegrin national broadcaster RTCG has chosen its first ever Junior Eurovision Song Contest entry through an internal selection. The broadcaster revealed on 21 August that Maša Vujadinović and Lejla Vulić will represent Montenegro in the Contest in Malta this November. The song is called “Budi dijete na jedan dan” (Be a Kid for a Day). It was written by Slaven Knezović, Sanja Perić and Lejla Vulić, and the arrangement was made by Miha Radonjić.
