A few seconds ago the Swedish national final Melodifestivalen has ended and the entry for Vienna has been chosen. After a six weeks selection process, Mans Zelmerlow has been crowned the winner of Melodifestivalen with his song “Heroes”.

Mans Zelmerlow won the jury voting with 121 points, and was 47 points ahead of the second placed Mariette. He then went on to win the televoting as well with over 35% of the votes!

Last year Sweden came third during the final of Eurovision Song Contest, being represented by Sanna Nielsen, with the song Undo. Sanna went on to host this year show alongside Robin Paulsson.
