Big international team behind Serhat’s Eurovision song!

The national broadcaster of San Marino has released more details about the team behind the song that Serhat is going to sing this coming May in Stockholm at the 2016 Eurovision Song Contest.

A big international team has come together in order to write San Marino’s Eurovision entry for the 2016 edition of the Contest. The composer of the song is Olcayto Ahmet Tugsuz from Turkey, while the lyrics are written by Nektarios Tyrakis from Greece. Tugsuz has written two Eurovision songs in the past – “Hani?” in 1982 and “Sarkim sevgi ustune” in 1987 – both for Turkey, while Tyrakis wrote the lyrics for Sakis’ first Eurovision entry “Shake It” in 2004 for Greece, and for Angelica Agurbash’s song “Love Me Tonight” in 2005 for Belarus.

A French musician Cyril Orcel is going to do the arrangements of the song, which is going to be recorded in Brussels. Apart from the English version of the song, versions in other languages will also be recorded – Italian (lyrics by Mariella Nava), French (lyrics by Stephane Laporte), as well as in other languages in collaboration with international renowned names.

Serhat will present his song at the beginning of March, so stay tuned.
