Rosa Lopez to take part in “Your Face Sounds Familiar”!

Rosa Lopez, the Spanish Eurovision entrant from 2002, has just been announced as one of the acts to take part in “Tu Cara Me Suena” – the Spanish (original) version of the very popular TV show “Your Face Sounds Familiar”.

Rosa Lopez is Spain’s Eurovision sweetheart, as most of the Spanish Eurofans consider it the biggest injustice that she didn’t manage to win the Contest in 2002 with “Europe’s Living a Celebration”. She’s going to be back on the TV screens every week as a contestant in “Tu Cara Me Suena”.

Another contestant in this TV show is going to be Blas Canto – one of the members of the band Auryn, who took part in the 2011 Spanish national selection, and the band was in the top three, but eventually lost to Lucia Perez. One of the judges this season is going to be Chenoa – she finished 4th in the Spanish Eurovision selection which Rosa Lopez won, and then was one of Rosa’s backing vocalists in Riga.

The new season of “Tu Cara Me Suena” should start on the 23rd of September. The last edition of this TV program was won by Ruth Lorenzo, who represented Spain in Eurovision 2014 in Copenhagen, with “Dancing In The Rain”, and finished 10th in the Grand Final.
