Lithuanian broadcaster LRT has today confirmed details of its national final next year Eurovizijos Atranka 2018.
As usual, LRT is only accepting songs from Lithuanian singers, although non-Lithuanian songwriters are eligible to enter. This also includes locals, and applications are now open.
Entries for the 2018 edition close on 1 December 2017, giving anyone interested just over six weeks to get their entries in. Details of the rules can also be found here.
2018 will mark the 19th time Lithuania has entered the Eurovision, their debut entry being in 1994. Lithuania’s most successful entry was in 2006 with the song “We are the winners”, and although coming 9th in 2016, Lithuania failed to qualify this year with Fusedmarc and their “Rain Of Revolution”.
