Details of the EuroCafe in Lisbon finally revealed!

OGAE Portugal have tonight in collaboration with OGAE International provided details of the EuroCafe venue and dates for the Eurovision week in Lisbon.

The venue will be the MoMe nightclub on the Avenida 24 de Julho in the Madrogoa district, next to the River Tagus.  It is touted as being the newest nightclub in Lisbon having only been open for a few months.  Set over 3 levels it has two dance floors (ground and 1st floor), and a just opened restaurant (second floor).

The venue is known for its light tones on the wall and an impressive decoration, constructed with several pieces of art.  The name MoMe is from the Musuem of Modern Art in New York (known as the Moma).  The club is usually open from 2300 to 0600 but we expect this will be adjusted for Eurovision week.

The venue will be the EuroCafe from 5th May until 12th May and details about the programme and application process for entry will follow.

What do you think of the MoMe as a venue for EuroCafe?  Let us know your thoughts.
