Anna Filipchuk will represent Russia at Junior Eurovision 2018!

Yesterday, the Russian national final for Junior Eurovision 2018 took place in Crimea. Twelve acts competed with the hope of winning the national selection and getting the opportunity to represent their country in Minsk, at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2018:

  • Arkadiy Evtushenko – “Ya zdes”
  • Mishel Zadorozhnaya – “Podelis mechtoy”
  • Aleksandra Kirilchuk – “Family tree”
  • Elizaveta Kuklishina – “Mechta moya”
  • Group Dodostar – “Poslushay”
  • Evelina Mazurina – “Poy dushoy”
  • Group Matreshki – “Vse mezhdu nami”
  • Tatyana Melnichenko – “Schastye na ladonyakh”
  • Diana Smykova – “Barabum”
  • Ivan Starikov – “Neutomimyye”
  • Anna Filipchuk – “Nepobedimy”
  • Anna Yakubuk – “Vselennaya”

At the end of the show, Russia selected Anna Filipchuk to represent the country in Minsk with the song “Nepobedimy”. The winner of the national final was chosen both by a professional jury (50%) and the televoters (50%).

Last year, Polina Bogusevich, from Russia, won the Junior Eurovision Song Contest in Tbilissi with her song ”Wings”. This year, Minsk will host the contest, on the 25th of November 2018.
