Depi Evratesil is back as Armenia’s national selection for Eurovision 2020!

Moments ago, Armenia’s national broadcaster announced that they are bringing back Depi Evratesil as their national selection for Eurovision 2020! The applications are already open!

Depi Evratesil is back in 2020 for its third season. The very first season was in a form of a talent show, which was won by Artsvik, who represented Armenia in Eurovision in Kiev with “Fly With Me”. The following year, artists could enter with their own songs, and the 2018 edition was won by Sevak Khanagyan and “Qami”, which represented Armenia in Portugal. For next year’s edition, AMPTV is repeating the format from 2018.

All artists wishing to enter Depi Evratesil 2020 can do so via the official website (click), no later than the 31st of December. One artist can submit only one song, which can be in any language. All the standard Eurovision rules apply. The exact dates of Depi Evratesil, as well as the entire format of the competition, are yet to be announced.

AMPTV selected Srbuk internally for this year’s Eurovision Song Contest, and her song “Walking Out” failed to qualify for the Grand Final.
