Tina Karol to join the jury panel in Ukraine's Vidbir 2020!

Ukraine’s national selection for the 2020 Eurovision Song Contest is taking shape, and after the confirmation that Andriy Danilko (aka Verka Serduchka) will join the judging panel for the fifth year in a row, we get to know that the seconed jury member is going to be Ukraine’s Eurovision act from 2006 – Tina Karol.

Vidbir is once again organized in a collaboration of the national broadcaster UA:PBC with one of the biggest commercial TV channels STB. The participant list is yet to be released, but wee got the first two judges of the show – Andriy Danilko, and now Tina Karol. Since competing in Eurovision, Tina released a total of six albums, numerous singles, and also became a judge in The Voice of Ukraine, as well as in The Voice Kids in Ukraine.

Tina Karol represented Ukraine back in 2006 with the song “Show Me Your Love” which ended up in 7th place.

Last year’s Vidbir ended up in controversy after Maruv won the contest with “Siren Song” but then refused to sign the contract with the national broadcaster due to unacceptable conditions, and the acts finishing in second, third and fourth places doing the same. What scandals await us in 2020, if any?
