Here are the official snippets of Slovenia's EMA FREŠ!

Slovenia expanded their national selection for the 2020 Eurovision Song Contest, as they organized an online competition EMA Fresh, where two newcommers are going to get a chance to compete against well established singers, and gain the right to represent Slovenia in Eurovision. EMA Fresh reached its final stage, where 10 acts are going to compete for the two places in the final – one will be chosen by public, and one by a special jury. These two acts are going to join the 10 already established artists in the Final of EMA 2020, and their names just got published.

Today RTVSLO revealed the snippets of the finalists, who’ll compete for the ticket at the EMA 2020. Check the snippets below:

EMA Freš reached its final stage, where 10 acts are going to compete for the two places in the final – one will be chosen by public, and one by a special jury. These two acts are going to join the 10 already established artists in the Final of EMA 2020.

The songs, which will be competing for the EMA 2020, are:

  • STELLA – Ne vem, če sem v redu
  • YOUNITE – The Cure
  • ALFIREV – Črno bela lika
  • KLARITY – Diham
  • MARMORIS – Moj pristan
  • SAŠKA – Še kar lovim tvoj nasmeh
  • PIA NINA – Tukaj in zdaj
  • LANA HRVATIN – Dream
  • PARVANI VIOLET – Cupid
  • ASTRID & AVANTGARDEN – Sing To Me

RTVSLO also announced that the hosts of EMA Freš will be Maja Pinterič in Bojan Cvjetićanin, both commentators the selection themselves. EMA Freš Final will be held on January 18th, at 20.00, broadcasted on RTV SLO1. Check here for the list of established artists, who’ll also compete for the Eurovision ticket.

Slovenia is competing at the Eurovision since 1993, their best ever result is still 7th place, achieved both in 1995 and 2001. Last year zalagasper represented Slovenia with a song ‘Sebi’ and qualified to the Grand Final, finishing at 15th place.
