These are the 16 artists competing in Ukraine’s Vidbir 2020!

The Ukrainian national broadcaster UA:PBC in collaboration with one of the most popular commercial TV channels STB is once again organizing Vidbir in order to find Ukraine’s song for Eurovision. This year’s edition will once again consist of two semi finals (on the 8th and 15th of February) and a Grand Final which will take place on the 22nd of February.

A total of 16 artists are going to be competing in this year’s edition of Vidbir, and they are:

  • Cloudless
  • David Axelrod
  • Elina Ivashchenko
  • Fo Sho
  • Garna
  • Gio
  • Go-A
  • Jerry Heil
  • Katya Chilly
  • Khayat
  • KRUTЬ
  • Moonzoo feat. F.M.F. Sure
  • Oleksandr Poriadynskyi
  • [О]
  • Tvorchi

The songs each of the 16 acts, as well as the split of acts per semi finals, are yet to be announced. The qualifiers, as well as the winner of the show will be chosen by a mix of televoting and jury votes. The jury will consist of Andriy Danilko (aka Verka Serduchka), Tina Karol (who represented Ukraine in Eurovision 2006) and Vitaliy Drozdov (Director General of Hit FM radio).

Maruv won last year’s edition of Vidbir with “Siren Song”, but decided not to sign the modified contract proposed to her by UA:PBC, thus Ukraine withdrew from the competition in Tel Aviv.
