Vasil Garvanliev will represent North Macedonia in Eurovision 2020!

After achieving their best result in the Eurovision history last year with Tamara Todevska, the national broadcaster of North Macedonia, MRT, decided to select their entry for the 2020 Eurovision Song Contest internally once again. Once again they went for a well-known artist – Vasil Garvanliev!

The Macedonian public got to know Vasil when he was only 7 years old, as he was performing in all of the children music festivals in the country. He later moved to the US, but upon his return to North Macedonia, he started releasing new singles, all of which achieved great success in the country. Vasil is also no stranger to Eurovision, as he was a backing vocalist for Tamara Todevska last year in Tel Aviv.

After being chosen by MRT to represent North Macedonia in 2020, he stated:

I am beyond honoured to present my country at the Song Contest in Rotterdam and I can hardly wait to put all my experience and knowledge into creating a magical journey that will touch people’s heart across Europe.

The song Vasil is going to be singing in Rotterdam will be released at a later date. Whilst we are awaiting his Eurovision song, give a listen to one of his latest hits, “Patuvam”:
