Schlager fans rejoiced in the fact that one of the biggest names in the genre, Eurovision winner Charlotte Perrelli, will be competing in Melodifestivalen again!
Now something else has come up that will make the fans very happy: her own documentary!

Discovery+ will be airing a documentary called: Charlotte Perrelli: Året som förändrade all (Translation: Charlotte Perrelli: The Year That Changed Everything). It has been produced by Nexikon, with Matilda Hellman as the producer and Jens von Reis and Daniel Andreasson are the ones who have directed it all.

The crew follows the schlager diva during the year 2020, in which Charlotte went from ”international gala stages to a calender echoing with emptiness”:

Suddenly Charlotte finds herself in quarantine in her villa, trying to make the her new life family-wise as well and with a clothing line to take care of. She misses her biggest professional passion, music, but then, that one phone call changes everything…

Charlotte Perrelli – Året som förändrade allt will premiere this Sunday on Discovery+ and will be shown by Swedish Kanal 5 on the 16th of February, the Tuesday before Charlotte competes in Melodifestivalen 2021!
