Azerbaijan selected their entry for Eurovision 2021!

As 12xal reports the entry of Azerbaijan at Eurovision Song Contest 2021 has been chosen after receiving 229 submissions for the song which Samira Efendi could potentially sing in Rotterdam the choice was narrowed down to just 6 out of which 4 were uptempo songs and 2 ballads. The song titles which were announced were Mata Hari, Ratata,W hen I’m gone,Manifesto, Breathing You and Owe You Pretty and now one of those has been selected for the one which Efendi will be performing at the contest as they announced the song is being finalized and the selection of venues for the filming of the official video has already begun. The video will be shot in Azerbaijan and as 12xal announces, it is expected for it to be ready by the end of February.

It is expected that the song will be released in the second week of March. There is also a chance that the song title is going to be changed by the team after its selection. One of the songs in the running has the same author which was in charge of Efendi’s song for Eurovision 2020 “Cleopatra” you can listen to it below.
