Eurovision Choir 2021 has been cancelled

Unfortunate news has come out regarding the Eurovision Choir of the Year competition. The 2021 edition has been cancelled!

In 2017 the European Broadcasting Union in collaboration with INTERKULTUR  had launched Eurovision Choir of the Year, a competition for amateur choirs, a new one under the umbrella of Eurovision competitions!
We’ve seen two editions, in 2017 and 2019, which were won by Carmen Manet from Slovenia and Vocal Line from Denmark respectively.

Last year, in September, this year’s edition was confirmed to go on, though in a statement to Eurofestival News, INTERKULTUR share the following news:

Unfortunately, the third edition of Eurovision Choir will no longer take place in 2021. As soon as we are able to announce more details on a future edition of the event, you will find information on our website and on social media accounts

Do you think Eurovision Choir will return in the future?
