Martina Majerle performs her new song ‘Vrijeme je na našoj strani’ at Kënga Magjike!

Martina Majerle is all but a stranger to the Eurovision stage.
She has been at the contest as a backing singer 7 times, backing up: Claudia Beni (Croatia 2003), Alenka Gotar (Slovenia 2007), Stefan Filipović (Montenegro 2008), Maja Keuc (Slovenia 2011), Eva Boto (Slovenia 2012), Sergej Ćetković (Montenegro 2014) and Nina Kraljić (Croatia 2016).
The eight time was in 2009, when the singer of mixed Croatian and Slovenian descent represent Slovenia, this time being the leading lady, at Eurovision in Moscow together with Quartissimo singing ‘Love Symphony’.

It’s clear Martina is a much wanted singer in different countries and recently she added another one to her list. Once again taking the lead, she performed in the popular contest of Kënga Magjike in Albania!
She performed ‘Vrijeme je na našoj strani’ (English: Time is on our side), which in her own words ”[…]is a modern pop song, which actually heralds a kind of stylistic change from the traditional, calmer rhythms with which I have presented myself to the audience in recent years” , to which she adds that the song has been waiting in a drawer for some time, to be shown to the world at, fittingly: the right time.

Martina is completely enthusiastic about her experience, as she shares:

Although we planned to release this song in the autumn, it so happened that I was invited to the prestigious international festival in Tirana, Kënga Magjike, which boasts top production, at the level of MTV and Eurovision – and so the song ‘Vrijeme je na našoj strani’ actually saw the light of day. It was a great honor for me to perform at such a big festival, where both the production and the local audience received me really well
