The Belgian act for Eurovision 2022 to be revealed on the 15th of September!

The Belgian national broadcaster RTBF has confirmed that they have selected their entrant(s) for the 2022 Eurovision Song Contest, and that the act is going to be announced in the morning of the 15th of September!

The French-speaking Belgian national broadcaster RTBF is working hard on their Eurovision entry for 2022, and they have decided to opt for an internal selection once again. They have already selected an act for next year’s Contest which is due to take place in Italy next May. The name of the act is going to be presented in the early morning hours (between 8 and 9am local time), on Wednesday, the 15th of September.

RTBF last participated in Eurovision in 2019, when Eliot was internally selected with his song “Wake Up”. They were due to participate in this year’s event, but due to the cancellation of the 2020 Eurovision Song Contest, VRT kept their selected act – Hooverphonic, in agreement with RTBF. Hooverphonic brought Belgium back to the Grand Final for the first time since 2017, and their song “The Wrong Place” finished in 19th place.
