The beginning of a new era: Hatari release music video to “Dansið eða Deyið”

Iceland’s Eurovision representatives of 2019, Hatari, just dropped a music video for their latest single “Dansið eða deyið” (“Dance or Die”). The release of the music video has been teased on the band’s official Instagram account and was titled as “The beginning of a new era”, both on Instagram and also on the audio release two months ago. This could suggest that there are more new releases, maybe even in entirely new genres, ahead.

The unconventional music video shows the band members Klemens Hannigan, Matthías Haraldsson and Einar Stefánsson on a couch, impersonating jury members of a talent contest show. Different performers, all of them children, are stepping in front of the judges to perform their talent in front of Hatari. You can watch the full music video here!

“Dance or Die” is also the title of Hatari’s current tour all around Europe. Their next destinations are Helsinki, Tallinn, Riga, Warsaw and Krakow in October. More information on the tour dates and tickets is available on their website.
